Mitch Rapp thought killing Joseph "Rick" Rickman would end the crisis. The former CIA golden boy had stolen massive amounts of classified intelligence and fled to Pakistan's secret service. But Rickman's death only made things worse. The stolen data contains the identities of CIA assets and operatives worldwide, and Rickman hid it somewhere before he died. Now both American and Pakistani forces scramble to locate Rickman's network of accomplices, who are slowly releasing the compromising information. CIA Director Irene Kennedy needs Rapp to find the leak before Pakistan uses the intelligence to blackmail America and advance their nuclear ambitions. The clock is ticking as the deadly game intensifies, with American lives hanging in the balance and enemies closing in from all sides.
