Alice Storm steps off the boat onto her family's Rhode Island island for the first time in five years. She was cast out from the Storm empire and its billions, but her father's death brings her back for the funeral. Alice plans to pay her respects and leave immediately. Her father has different ideas. The manipulative patriarch designed a final challenge from beyond the grave. The family must spend one week on Storm Island completing assigned tasks to claim their inheritance. Alice faces her older sister's secret romance, her brother's arrogance, her younger sister's constant commentary, and her mother's cold disapproval. Jack Dean, her father's attractive second-in-command, watches over everything with stern attention. Alice must survive seven days of family chaos while old secrets surface and new truths emerge. The week tests everything she built away from the Storm name.
