Won Ton surveys his new surroundings at the animal shelter. He has a bed, a food bowl, and a small blanket. The staff tells him it should feel like home. When visiting hours arrive, Won Ton acts indifferent to the people who walk by his cage. He yawns and looks away. But curiosity gets the better of him, and he steals glances at the visitors. One day a boy appears who will change everything. Won Ton must decide whether to trust this human and leave the safety of his cage for an uncertain future.
