Alfonso Perplexon thought his sleepwalking days were over. Since returning from Dormia, he has slept normally. No more falling asleep during class. No more waking up in treetops. His nighttime wandering has stopped completely. Then a school trip to France changes everything. His sleeping self takes control again. He does things his awake mind would never consider, including sneaking aboard a ship bound for Egypt. Something pulls him back toward Dormia, and Alfonso cannot resist the call. He carries only a backpack, some books, and growing dread as he begins another journey. The mysterious force that once controlled his sleep has returned, and Alfonso must face whatever waits for him in the place he thought he had left behind forever.
