Zeus bounces with excitement as the chocolate lab puppy begins his training. His trainer, a young boy named Kimo, tries to teach him the skills he needs to become a water rescue dog. Zeus has the courage and strength for the job, but his eagerness keeps getting in the way of proper training sessions. Each lesson becomes a challenge as Zeus struggles to focus and follow commands. The bond between boy and puppy grows stronger every day, but Zeus faces a painful reality. Becoming a working dog means leaving Kimo behind when training ends.
