Part of Christmas Notch
First published 2023
Kallum Lieberman runs a pizza chain called Slice, Slice, Baby after his boy band INK dissolved. When an old sex tape surfaces online, he decides to return to acting in a Santa biopic for the Hope Channel. His costar is Winnie Baker, a former child star who married young and built a respectable career. After her marriage crumbles, Winnie wants to reinvent herself with steamier roles. The two have Hollywood history from a decade ago, making their professional reunion awkward. Winnie struggles with the intimate scenes because she lacks real experience despite her marriage. She asks Kallum to help her with research for authenticity. As they work together, Kallum's old teenage feelings for Winnie return while she discovers unexpected attraction to him. Their opposite personalities and shared past create complications as they navigate both their professional collaboration and growing personal connection during the Christmas movie production.
