Duke Theseus of Athens counts down to his wedding with Hippolyta while chaos erupts around him. Four young Athenians escape to the nearby woods, their romantic entanglements growing more twisted by the hour. Hermia refuses her father's choice of husband and flees with Lysander, pursued by the devoted Demetrius, who is himself chased by the lovesick Helena. In the same forest, a troupe of amateur actors rehearses a play for the duke's wedding festivities, unaware that magical forces watch their every move. Fairies rule this woodland realm, and their supernatural interventions transform a simple tale of forbidden love into something far more complicated. The forest becomes a place where identities blur, affections shift without warning, and the line between dream and reality dissolves. As wedding day approaches, all parties must find their way back to Athens, but the night's strange events will leave everyone questioning what they experienced and what they truly desire.
