Strange reports flood in about ghostly apparitions near an abandoned lighthouse close to Olive's school, the Reforming Arts School or RASCH. Olive leads her team of underdog crime fighters to investigate these mysterious sightings. The supposed ghosts attract crowds of curious visitors to RASCH, but they also seem to draw attention from marine creatures in the nearby waters. As tourism increases around the ghost phenomenon, wild stories begin circulating about a sea monster lurking in San Francisco Bay. A dishonest businessman takes notice of these rumors and sets his sights on capturing the legendary creature for profit. Olive and her fellow Misfits must determine whether the sea monster actually exists and protect it from exploitation. Their investigation takes them deep into one of San Francisco's most famous unsolved mysteries. The team faces their biggest challenge yet as they work to separate fact from fiction while racing against time to prevent a potential disaster.
