Bo has a wonderful idea. He wants to surprise Annie, his very best friend. But when Bo tries his first surprise, everything goes wrong. Annie doesn't smile the way Bo hoped she would. Bo feels disappointed, but he doesn't give up. He thinks hard about what would make Annie truly happy. Then Bo gets a new idea. He decides to bake something special just for her. Bo works carefully in the kitchen, mixing and measuring. He shapes his creation into a crescent moon and waits for it to bake. Will this surprise work better than the first one? Bo hopes Annie will love what he has made with his own hands. Sometimes the best gifts come from trying again when the first attempt fails.
