Two little mice face an impossible task. The mouse council has chosen them for a dangerous mission: they must attach a bell collar to the fierce house cat that terrorizes their community. The mice know this cat well. It prowls the house, hunting them relentlessly. Now they must get close enough to fasten a bell around its neck so other mice can hear it coming. The assignment fills them with dread, but they cannot refuse. As they plan their approach, the mice must overcome their fear and find courage they never knew they possessed. This story explores how even the smallest creatures can accomplish the most daunting challenges when they work together and believe in themselves.
