Betty loves Christmas because everything gets wonderfully busy, just like her. This year she plans to find the perfect gift for every family member. She rushes to her piggy bank only to discover it's completely empty. Betty refuses to give up. She and Mae hatch a brilliant plan to convert their summer lemonade stand into a Christmas cookie business. They'll earn money selling treats to neighbors and shoppers. But convincing people to buy cookies in cold, snowy weather proves much harder than expected. Customers stay indoors while Betty and Mae shiver outside their stand. As Christmas approaches, Betty worries she'll disappoint everyone she loves. She might discover that the most meaningful gifts don't require money at all.
