Cheaters

by Eric Jerome Dickey

First published 2001

The lies start small in Los Angeles, but they multiply fast among six young professionals trying to make it in love and career. Each character believes they can manage their deceptions, control who gets hurt, and keep their real desires hidden. But secrets have a way of surfacing in a city where everyone knows someone who knows your business. As romantic entanglements grow more complex, the six friends discover that betrayal cuts both ways. The women thought they understood the rules of the dating game. The men assumed they could play without consequences. All of them learn that cheating costs more than they bargained for when hearts and reputations hang in the balance.
