Sierra McIntyre writes about Crystal City's ghost hunters for a tabloid that has started gaining credibility thanks to her investigative work. Her intuitive abilities help her dig deeper into stories about the mysterious Ghost Hunter Guild. When retired hunters begin vanishing from the city's streets, Sierra interviews Guild Boss John Fontana about the disappearances. She wants to keep her distance from the powerful man, but her instincts tell her to trust him. Even her pet dust bunny Elvis seems to approve of Fontana. The Guild Boss suspects someone inside his own organization orchestrates the disappearances. He needs Sierra's help to expose the conspiracy, so he suggests they marry to give her access to guild secrets. The arrangement would be strictly business, but Sierra feels the electric pull between them. As they work together to uncover the truth, their fake marriage becomes complicated by very real desire.
