Death at a Scottish Wedding

Part of Scottish Isle Mystery

First published 2024

Dr. Emilia McRoy has finally begun to feel at home in Sea Isle, Scotland when she receives an invitation to a wedding at Morrigan's Castle. Her friends warn her about the three-day celebration and the approaching snowstorm, but she looks forward to the festivities. Castle owner Constable Ewan Campbell prepares for the blizzard, yet he cannot prevent tragedy from striking his guests. While exploring the ancient fortress, Emilia discovers a corpse in one of the turrets. The storm traps everyone inside as snow blocks the roads and prevents police from reaching them. The wedding party decides to continue with the ceremony despite the death, which gives Emilia a contained group of suspects for her coroner duties. The situation grows dangerous when the murderer targets Emilia herself. Nobody admits to knowing the victim, which deepens the puzzle. Emilia must identify the dead man and expose his killer before the murderer escapes justice or claims another life.
