This collection brings together writing from the 2018 Lambda Literary Fellows across five disciplines. The Lambda Writers Retreat for Emerging LGBTQ Voices began in 2007 as the first program of its kind. Writers spend one intensive week developing their craft in fiction, nonfiction, poetry, genre fiction, and playwriting. They work with established mentors from the LGBTQ literary community and connect with publishing professionals. The retreat creates lasting bonds between emerging writers. More than 50 authors contribute to this anthology. Their work represents the diverse range of voices and experiences within LGBTQ literature. The collection spans multiple forms and genres, reflecting the breadth of contemporary queer writing. These pieces showcase the talent nurtured through the Lambda fellowship program and offer readers a window into the next generation of LGBTQ storytellers.
