Nell Dysart needs work after her eighteen month old divorce. She lands a job at McKenna Investigations, a detective agency that handles relationship cases. Nell throws herself into improving the struggling business. Her first day reveals an embezzler in their midst. Day two uncovers bribery schemes. On her third day, she sleeps with the wrong person. Day four finds her stealing a dog. By day five, her boss Gabe McKenna tries to fire her and fails completely. Gabe admits that despite the chaos Nell brings, she shares his drive to set things right. Soon they discover they share another passion they cannot deny.
