Hiccup stands apart from other Vikings. While they tower with bushy mustaches and booming voices, he remains small, thoughtful, and polite. Most troubling of all, the sea terrifies him. Next Tuesday morning arrives with his first mandatory voyage. His father Stoick the Vast bellows that Vikings never feel fear. They certainly never get seasick either. But Hiccup struggles with both afflictions as he prepares to board the ship. The young Viking must find his own way to be brave, even when his courage looks nothing like what others expect. This small sailor will chart a course that proves heroism comes in many forms.
