Lanoree Brock serves as a Ranger across the galaxy, trained in the Force by the ancient Je'daii order on Tython. Her brother never showed Force sensitivity and abandoned his training after a tragic incident. The Je'daii Council summons Lanoree for an urgent mission. A cult leader plans to open a gateway beyond known space using dark matter, which could destroy the entire star system. The Council assigns Lanoree to stop this catastrophe. She discovers the cult leader is her brother, whom she believed dead. Now she must choose between saving the galaxy and confronting the sibling she has mourned, knowing that stopping him may require his death.
