Part of The Baby-Sitters Club, book 89

First published 1995

Kristy thinks she has found the perfect solution when Davis Diapers offers to sponsor the Krushers baseball team. New uniforms should boost team morale and performance. Instead, everything goes wrong. Mr. Davis takes over and bosses the players around. The uniforms arrive with DIAPERS printed across the front in giant red letters. The team falls apart under the humiliation and pressure. Meanwhile, Kristy faces another crisis. Dawn has moved to California permanently, leaving the Baby-sitters Club seriously understaffed. They cannot handle all their commitments. Just when things look hopeless, Kristy notices the new girl who moved onto her street. She loves baseball and enjoys working with children. This newcomer might solve both of Kristy's problems at once.
