Little Babymouse and the Christmas Cupcakes

by Jennifer L. Holm

First published 2016

Babymouse has eaten every single Christmas cookie her mom baked for Santa. She decides to make cupcakes instead, convinced Santa will prefer them anyway. As she works in the kitchen, something rumbles in the next room. A dragon appears, threatening her cupcake mission. Babymouse transforms into Sir Babymouse, ready to battle the fiery beast. She must defeat the dragon to save Christmas, or at least rescue some cupcakes from destruction. This marks Babymouse's first picture book adventure, complete with her trademark humor and comic book style panels. The story unfolds in full color, filled with pink frosted treats and the same playful spirit that made Babymouse a graphic novel favorite. Young readers will connect with Babymouse's cookie predicament and cheer for her heroic cupcake rescue mission.
