A young boy has a special companion named Spot, a white dog covered in black spots with a distinctive black circle around his left eye. Spot fills his days with typical dog adventures. He barks at passing strangers, runs after cats through the yard, and chases birds that land too close. Inside the house, Spot gets into trouble chewing on slippers and gnawing his favorite bones. But his greatest joy comes during car rides, when he can stick his head out the window and feel the wind rush past his face. Through all of Spot's daily adventures and occasional mischief, the bond between the boy and his four-legged friend grows stronger. This picture book celebrates the simple pleasures and unwavering loyalty that make the relationship between a child and their pet so special.
