Pandemic

First published 2014

A small canister sits on the ocean floor, harmless looking but deadly. Years ago, an alien intelligence launched this final weapon before its destruction, filling the soda can sized container with engineered germs designed to devastate humanity. When the canister finally releases its contents, the new disease spreads with terrifying speed. Within days, one fourth of all humans carry the infection. Entire nations collapse as the plague spreads unchecked. A small band of survivors races against time to develop a cure. They face enemies on all sides while the clock ticks down. The fate of the human species hangs in the balance as they fight to save what remains of civilization before it's too late.
