Penguin and Little Blue find themselves trapped in the entertainment world, performing far from their Antarctic home. The two friends spend their days signing autographs and diving for crowds while staying in a Kansas hotel where only the ice machine and bathtub provide any comfort. Each night after exhausting performances, they dream of returning to the white ice they know and love. They miss their feathered friends and long for ice cakes and ice falls. The hard work of show business weighs on them as they wonder how they might break free from this life and find their way back to Antarctica. Their homesickness grows stronger with each passing day of performances and publicity.
