Rogue Wave

First published 2012

Robin Matucci sails beneath the Golden Gate Bridge on calm seas with her sober deckhand Carlos. Within a day, storms blacken the sky and Carlos lies drunk and unconscious. Robin battles towering waves as her small vessel takes on water. Fire erupts from the engine room and the craft sinks into the Pacific depths. When debris surfaces, Robin has vanished, but police find hair samples in the wreckage. The samples match evidence from an unsolved hit-and-run that occurred three years earlier. The victim's widow demands answers and hires private detective Kiernan O'Shaughnessy to locate the missing woman. Kiernan must dive deep into ocean mysteries to solve the case. Her investigation will also force her to confront a man from her past she believed she had left behind forever.
