Clare Cosi manages the Village Blend coffeehouse while planning her wedding. Her ex-husband has become obsessed with dating apps, swiping for matches that meet at her shop. Even her elderly boss uses screenshots to pick potential partners. The new smartphone dating craze transforms the Village Blend into a popular hookup destination. Business thrives as Clare keeps the espresso flowing for eager daters. One night, she discovers a corpse in her coffeehouse. The dead man was a successful entrepreneur known for cruel behavior toward women he met through dating apps. He would seduce his matches, then destroy them with brutal morning-after comments. Police arrest one of his recent victims, but Clare suspects they have the wrong person. She believes the woman was set up to take the blame. Clare teams up with her ex-husband and her eccentric barista staff to investigate. She begins examining suspects who frequent her shop, searching for the true killer before violence strikes again.
