Badger values order and quiet in his home. He keeps his Important Rock Room just so. He likes his routines undisturbed. Then Skunk arrives as his new roommate, and Badger cannot prevent it. Skunk crashes through Badger's careful world like a tornado. Everything gets turned upside down. Tails get flipped around. The spray goes to the wrong animal entirely. Chickens appear everywhere, though no one can explain why so many have shown up. Badger finds his predictable life completely scrambled. He must learn to live with this chaotic new presence who changes everything about his orderly existence. The story follows these two very different animals as they navigate sharing space and discovering what it means to become unlikely friends.
