Now he searches for them while his other son, Antipholus, hunts for his missing mother and brother. The Duke grants Egeon one day to raise ransom money for his life. What Egeon cannot know is that both his sons have arrived in Ephesus, each accompanied by a slave named Dromio who are also identical twins. His lost son has become a respected citizen here, married to Adriana. When she encounters the wrong Antipholus, she drags him home for dinner, leaving his slave to guard her door. Her real husband returns to find himself locked out of his own house. As the day unfolds, mistaken identities multiply and chaos spreads through the city, while Egeon's execution approaches.
