The Curse of the Vampire's Socks

by Terry Jones

First published 1988

Young Tim discovers something strange about his sock drawer. His socks have developed an appetite for blood and a serious attitude problem. They refuse to stay on his feet during the day and spend their nights plotting mischief around the house. Tim's parents think he's making excuses for his constantly bare feet, but Tim knows the truth. His socks have been cursed by a vampire, and they're getting bolder by the day. When the socks start recruiting other clothing items to their cause, Tim realizes he must find the vampire responsible and break the curse before his entire wardrobe turns against him. But confronting a vampire requires courage Tim isn't sure he possesses, especially when his own socks are working against him.
