Mowgli lives among the wolf pack that raised him from infancy. The man-cub has learned their ways and follows the Law of the Jungle under the watchful eye of Bagheera the panther. When Baloo the bear teaches him new lessons about survival and friendship, Mowgli begins to understand his place in this wild world. But Shere Khan, the fierce tiger who has always threatened his existence, grows bolder in his pursuit. With help from unlikely allies like Kaa the python, Mowgli must confront the predator who would destroy him. Jessica Swale transforms Kipling's classic story into a musical adaptation that explores what family means when it crosses species lines. Joe Stilgoe contributes original songs that bring the animal characters to life on stage. This version celebrates the bonds that form between outcasts and misfits who create their own sense of belonging in an unforgiving world.
