This scholarly collection examines major shifts in human prehistory through papers written by students and collaborators of Ofer Bar-Yosef. The editors selected the theme of prehistoric transitions to reflect Bar-Yosef's wide-ranging research interests throughout his distinguished career at Hebrew University and Harvard University.
