Olive never planned to co-own anything with Levi Miller. But when her young son inherited half of a crumbling historic inn called The Palm Inn, she packed up and moved back to her hometown to restore it. The other half belonged to Levi, a famous quarterback who wanted to sell the place and move on. Their first meeting ended with him needing eight stitches, which did not help negotiations. They moved into the property together while they argued over its future. Levi pushed to unload it. Olive wanted to gut it, rebuild it, and reopen it as a bed and breakfast. Neither would budge. So Levi offered a bet: if Olive could book the inn solid before he left for training camp at summer's end, he would step back and let her run it. She took the deal. What she did not plan for was spending weeks under the same roof with a man who turned out to be warm, funny, and genuinely good with her kid. The attraction she tried to ignore became impossible to contain. Then the real problem surfaced. Levi was her ex's older brother. The inn stopped being the hard part.
