When Santa's sleigh malfunctions, the jolly old elf tumbles to earth in a small German town. Stranded and injured, he's taken in by a young boy named Niklas and his beleaguered mom. But the greedy mayor wants to exploit Santa for his own gain, and it's up to Niklas and his friends to spirit the Weihnachtsmann away to safety. In a race against time, they must outwit the villainous mayor and his bumbling henchmen to get Santa back to the North Pole before Christmas is ruined forever.
