Dawn Schafer has joined The Baby-sitters Club, but life in Stoneybrook feels nothing like her old home in California. When she takes on her first major assignment babysitting the Barrett children, everything goes wrong. The Barrett house stays messy no matter what Dawn does. The three kids ignore every rule she sets. Their mother breaks promise after promise, leaving Dawn to handle chaos she never signed up for.
