Disney After Dark

First published 2009

Finn Whitman stands in Walt Disney World as a hologram projection, part of new Disney Host Interactive technology that transforms five teens into digital tour guides. The DHI system creates daylight hologram imaging that lets them guide park guests, but something goes wrong. Finn finds himself transported into the Magic Kingdom at night in his hologram form. He cannot tell if this is real or a dream. An elderly Imagineer named Wayne approaches him with urgent news. The park faces grave danger from a group called the Overtakers, led by the witch Maleficent. These Disney villains plot to destroy the Magic Kingdom and threaten the world beyond its gates. Finn and the four other teen holograms must stop this scheme. They navigate the closed park after hours, battling characters who have turned evil. The cutting edge technology that made them guides now makes them the only defenders who can save Disney World and prevent chaos from spilling into the real world.
