Part of The Lost Sentinel
First published 2023
Vinna's life shifted during a fight in the Nevada wilderness. That skirmish was supposed to be routine. It wasn't. She came out the other side with something she hadn't expected: a family, a Chosen, raw power, and the satisfaction of vengeance earned. Now she stands at the edge of a new country and a new reckoning. Sentinel City sits somewhere in the Russian cold, close enough to reach on foot, and Vinna is walking straight toward it. She doesn't know what waits for her there. Welcome is possible. So is fear. So is contempt. The people of Sentinel City have no idea she's coming, and she has no idea who she'll be once she arrives. Found and Forged is the story of a woman who rebuilt herself from a single violent night and now has to find out whether the world she was born into will accept what she's become. The tension lives in that gap between who Vinna is and what Sentinel City expects. She's claimed her power. Now she has to walk through the door and see if it holds.
