Hallow Be the Haunt

by Heather Graham

Part of Krewe of Hunters, book 22.5

First published 2018

Ashley Donegal should be focused on wedding preparations at her family's Donegal Plantation. Instead, a ghost visits her dreams each night, warning of coming deaths in New Orleans. The spirit belongs to a murder victim, killed by the same person now stalking the city. Ashley's fiancé Jake Mallory, a member of the Krewe paranormal investigation unit, initially suspects her nightmares stem from returning to the plantation where they first met during a previous case. That investigation involved a murder that mirrored a Civil War era death at the same location. But as Ashley's visions persist, bodies start appearing throughout New Orleans. The couple must identify and stop the killer before Halloween arrives. The murderer plans to claim dozens more victims on All Hallows' Eve. Jake and Ashley race against time as the body count rises. Their own lives hang in the balance alongside their upcoming marriage. The ghost's warnings become more urgent as October 31st approaches.
