Scarlet Moreno receives a desperate phone call from Jason Jones, an LAPD street cop who insists someone framed him for his girlfriend's murder. Before Scarlet can help him figure out who set the trap, a SWAT team arrives and Jason flees, leaving her to face police questions she cannot answer. Scarlet commits to proving Jason's innocence, but the authorities want him imprisoned and unknown enemies want him dead.
