Tommy and his classmates at McQuarrie Middle School board buses for what should be a fun field trip to Washington DC. They earned this adventure by saving their trip in the previous crisis, but trouble starts immediately. Principal Rabbski declares the entire excursion an origami-free zone, threatening the paper-folding hobby that has defined their friendships. Dwight refuses to comply and secretly creates Yoda from a Fruit Roll-Up, crafting what he calls Fruitigami Yoda. His creation must somehow counter Harvey's bitter influence, described as a sour pickle of darkness. The students navigate shifting friendships and outright betrayals while dealing with motion sickness and sugar-fueled chaos. Their day includes astronaut ice cream, encounters with supersonic aircraft, a mysterious Johnny Appleseed appearance, and a brush with law enforcement. This final case in the Origami Yoda series tests whether paper wisdom can survive official prohibition and personal conflicts during their biggest adventure yet.
