Rip and Rapella Ripple are in Missouri for Lexie Starr's daughter's wedding when Hurricane Harvey slams into their Texas hometown of Rockport. Their daughter Regina and her husband weather the Category 4 storm on Key Allegro Island alongside neighbor Sadie Ramirez. When the Ripples return home, they discover Sadie died during the hurricane.
