Rafe Coppersmith takes a job clearing the alien catacombs beneath Rainshadow Island. The underground tunnels harbor creatures that sing deadly songs to lure victims to their deaths. He needs a music talent to counter their lethal melodies. Only one person has the skills he requires: Ella Morgan, the woman he abandoned months ago without explanation. Ella fell hard for Rafe before he vanished from her life. She carries her own secrets, known only to her dust bunny companion. She possesses abilities beyond ordinary music talent. As a Siren, she can use her paranormal voice to put men to sleep or kill them with song. On Rainshadow Island, Rafe and Ella must work together despite their painful history. The alien catacombs hold mysteries that will test both their abilities and their fractured relationship. Their rekindled attraction brings new dangers as they discover that some fires burn hotter when fed.
