Captain Amazing has finally taken a break from protecting Metro City and headed off to see the World's Biggest Ball of Yarn. Back home, his animal sidekicks Manny, Roscoe, and Fluffy are holding down the fort when a stranger named Whipley shows up at their door. Shifty recognizes him immediately and claims Whipley is his long-lost brother, but the other sidekicks sense something fishy about this unexpected reunion. Their suspicions prove justified when the Society of Superheroes suffers a major security breach. Sensitive data about Captain Amazing and other heroes gets stolen, and the stolen flash drive ends up in dangerous hands. With their leader away and chaos erupting at superhero headquarters, the sidekicks must figure out whether Whipley is really family or if he's using Shifty to pull off an elaborate revenge scheme. The team will need to work together to protect their absent captain and solve the mystery before the stolen secrets destroy everything they've sworn to defend.
