Four eggs sit together in different colors: blue, pink, yellow, and green. Three of them crack open to reveal baby birds inside. The newly hatched chicks spread their wings and fly away to explore the world. But the green egg remains closed and still. The three baby birds return to check on their friend who never hatched. They wonder what could be wrong. When they investigate the mysterious green egg, they discover something completely unexpected waiting inside.
