Maddie's vacation for two becomes a trip for one after a breakup. At an overbooked luxury resort, she watches a stranger named Milo bluff his way into an unclaimed reservation. Instead of turning him in, she claims to be his sister. That's how the Hookers are born. For the next several days, Milo shows Maddie around his hometown, and a depressing solo getaway turns into something she didn't plan for. When checkout comes, neither of them is ready to say goodbye, so they hit the road together. At every stop they collect a souvenir. The chemistry between them is real, but Milo holds back. He knows Maddie just walked out of a hard relationship and won't push her. At the end of the road trip, they make a pact: meet again in three months. Maddie means to keep it. Then she gets home, and real life lands hard. She starts to wonder whether she let something irreplaceable slip away, or whether Milo was always going to end up as nothing more than a memory she carries.
