Abby steps through her magic mirror with her brother Jonah, expecting another fairy tale adventure. Instead, they land in the story of Hansel and Gretel at the worst possible moment. The real Hansel and Gretel have escaped, leaving Abby and Jonah trapped in their place. The witch thinks she has caught two perfect ingredients for her kid casserole dinner. Abby must convince the witch that their dog is actually a cat. She learns to blend kale smoothies while plotting their escape. A talking duck offers help, but can they trust it? The witch's house may be made of cake, but getting eaten wasn't part of Abby's plan. She and Jonah need to outwit their captor and find their way back through the magic mirror. Their home depends on surviving this twisted version of the classic tale.
